As a social enterprise, munificent wines has made a commitment to donate 50% of pre-tax gross profits to Sisterworks Inc. who support refugee, asylum seeking and migrant women. Munificent wines core values also include supporting local, independent businesses so these wines are exclusively available through independent bottle-shops, bars and restaurants.
We went through an exhaustive sourcing process to hand-select only the best grapes for the Prosecco and Pinot Grigio from the premium cool-climate region of King Valley. To create the generous fruit-forward style of Shiraz that aligns with the munificent ethos, we blended grapes from regions across S.E. Australia including Barossa and McLaren Vale.

Deep ruby colour with concentrated dark red fruit and mocha aromas. The palate is plush with rich dark berries, cacao and subtle pepper notes.

Munificent wines is focused on supporting small local businesses so supporting a small local charity was in perfect alignment with our values and also meant that our contribution would have a larger impact.
Through work and entrepreneurship, SisterWorks’ mission is to support women who are refugees, asylum seekers or migrants so they can improve their confidence, mental wellbeing, sense of belonging and economic outlook. An independent evaluation of the social and economic impact of SisterWorks in 2019 concluded that $2.4 of value is created for every $1 invested.
